    Desloratadine 5mg tablets are a prescription-only non-drowsy antihistamine treatment for allergic rhinitis. They prevent symptoms such as sneezing, congestion and runny nose.

    The treatment is effective against allergy to pollens (hay fever) as well as household irritants such as dust mites and pet dander And should be taken once a day. It is not available to buy over the counter.

    Desloratadine can be taken by adults once a day to keep allergy symptoms at bay.
