    How does the Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray work?
    This nasal spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride, a vasoconstrictor that works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose. By doing this, it reduces swelling and opens up the nasal passages, allowing for easier breathing. It provides rapid relief, typically working within 2 minutes, and lasts up to 10 hours.

    • Shake the bottle gently before use.
    • Remove the cap and hold the bottle upright.
    • Insert the nozzle into one nostril and close the other nostril by pressing gently.
    • Spray once or twice while breathing in gently through the nose.
    • Repeat for the other nostril.
    • After use, wipe the nozzle clean and replace the cap.
    • Use up to 3 times daily if needed, but do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours.
    • Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days without medical advice.
